Dr. Josef Stachowicz

Josef B. Stachowicz, D.C. – Chiropractic Physician/Owner

Dr. Joe Stachowicz completed his chiropractic education at Logan University’s College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, MO.  While at Logan, Dr. Joe focused his studies on family practice, wellness, spots performance and pediatrics.  Dr. Joe graduated with honors and returned to West Michigan to continue the family tradition of service through chiropractic.

Dr. Joe was born and raised in Whitehall, MI and was a standout multi-sport athlete at Whitehall High School. He participated in football, basketball, powerlifting, and track and field for the Vikings. He was an All-State qualifier in track and field as well as a state champion and All-American in powerlifting.

After high school and prior to his chiropractic education Dr. Joe attended Aquinas College in Grand Rapids, MI on a track and field scholarship. During his time at Aquinas he was a two time Wolverine Hoosier Athletic Conference Champion in the hammer throw and was a 5 time National Qualifier, two times in the indoor weight throw and three times in the hammer throw outdoors.

After completing his bachelors degree Dr. Joe moved to Central Missouri to coach track and field at William Woods University. While coaching Dr. Joe also earned his Master’s in Education. At William Woods Dr. Joe coached over 30 all-conference athletes and 4 national qualifiers including the 2013 NAIA Indoor runner up in the weight throw.

Following the completion of his education and coaching at William Woods, Dr. Joe moved to St. Louis after being accepted into the Logan University’s College of Chiropractic. In addition to beginning his education Dr. Joe couldn’t leave coaching and was hired at Washington University in St. Louis where he coached numerous all-conference athletes including 7 conference champions in various throwing events.

Dr. Joe loves all sports and loves to help athletes and all of his patients reach their full performance potential through chiropractic. When not in the office Dr. Joe coaches track and field at Whitehall High School, and loves to be outdoors, kayaking, hunting, fishing or just spending time with his wife Alissa.
